A happy birthday to Jen
A birthday card that Brad Pitt sent to Jennifer Aniston for her 38th birthday on Feb. 11 totally flipped Angelina Jolie out according to the ever reliable Star. The card didn’t so much flip Angelina out, but the way Brad signed the card did. He supposedly signed the card (that he supposedly sent) “with love, Brad” and he sent it while Angelina was still reeling from the death of her mom. “It was an affectionate gesture on his part, and he sees no reason not to reach out and extend an olive branch,” a source tells Star.
Ironically, the final indiscretion on Pitt’s part was his decision to tell Jolie about the card. That was when a deeply saddened Jolie “hit the roof!” the source says.
“Brad saw nothing wrong with his behavior. He said, ‘You should never burn bridges,’ and reminded her that he and Jen may have no future together, but they could still be friends.” But, says the source, “Angelina is unsteady and none of this went down well.”

I doubt this one, because of two things. First, AJ herself is said to keep in regular contact with her ex Billy Bob, and Johnny Lee Miller before that, so how could she be so hypocritical as to berate Brad for the same thing? Secondly, she extended an olive branch herself to Jennifer in an interview, and referred to her as Brad’s best friend.
I’d say this rumor orginated from Jen’s camp, as tit-for-tat over the “Jen hit the roof when Courtney talked to Brad” rumor.

At Star Magazine they always seem to be scraping from the bottom of the barrel, don’t they? And when they still come up with nothing they just make up stories instead.

if this is true, i dont think brad would do this w/o angie’s knowledge.
