Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Sibs Donate $1 Million to Children’s Hospital
When Brad Pitt recently plunked down $1 million for a painting, we actually had a commenter who criticized Brad for waisting money that should have gone to charity. (Oh the haters.) Once again, Brad has shown how generous he is. (Not that he needed to. What he does with his money is his business.)
Brad’s brother Doug Pitt announced last week that the “Brad Pitt family, Doug and Lisa Pitt and Rob and Julie Neal” are donating $1 million to St. John’s hospital in Brad’s hometown of Springfield, Missouri.
St. John will rename the cancer unit in honor of Brad’s mother. The Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center will use the funds to create an endowment that will hire cancer specialists, add additional beds, build a hospital based Ronald McDonald House and increase the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
Kudos to Angelina, Brad and the entire Pitt family.

What a nice thing from Brad, Angie and his siblings to donate 1 million dollars to a hospital and to name the wing after their mum Jane. She must be really proud of her children and their spouses. There´s a video in Sherry´s site of Doug´s speech. In one part he calls their mum as ´professional grandmother´. That was hilarious. After all she and Bill have 14 (!) grandchildren. God bless the whole Pitt family!

hey angie/brad, how bout donatin sum money to the americans who buy your movies, or pay for your stuff? like the poor americans who like yur movies, spendin their last dimes on em. They need help with money too.
