Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt Rumor Round Up
Rumors are running rampant about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I thought it would be interesting to analyze how the rumors got started and their validity.
Rumor #1: Angelina and Brad are breaking up.
The gist
This rumor started with Star magazine few weeks back. The rag claimed that Angelina caught Brad giving one of their nannies a back massage and “completely flipped out.” More recently Star reports that Angelina and Brad are sleeping in separate bedrooms because she so angry over the nanny affair. In Touch added fuel to the fire by claiming that Angie’s brother James Haven had to move in to just to referee.
Verdict: Neither Star nor In Touch is know for their accuracy so don’t believe the hype.
Rumor #2: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are adopting a child from India.
The gist
This rumor started in 2006. Back then reports surfaced that Angelina and Brad had applied to adopt a child from the Priya Darshini Orphanage. Current chatter claims that Angelina and Brad had to put that adoption on hold.
“They filled out all the paperwork but had to put the adoption on hold because of all their other commitments,” and insider claims.
Angelina supposedly spilled the beans when she she met Slum Dog Millionaire star Azharuddin Mohammed. The ten year old star allegedly asked Angelina why she and Brad hadn’t adopted from his homeland. “Well, I’ll let you into a little secret, we will soon,” Angelina supposedly responded.
I couldn’t find any reliable source for this information. Several sites quote the UK’s Sunday Express but I couldn’t find the article.
Validity: Don’t hold your breath. I’m sure Angelina and Brad will adopt again but the only sites printing the information print any story about Angelina and Brad.

I used to get angry at these stories for a long time. But now I just laugh at them. It´s just like you mentioned, KD. STAR, In Touch, Life & Style etc. aren´t known for their accuracy. I don´t believe any word of those ridiculous stories anymore. Angie and Brad are happy together and are meant for each other. Still wonder where those stories come from. Everyone who works for the family - like nannies - sure have signed some sort of confidentiality agreement not to speak about the family to the outsiders. So who is leaking the information to the press? Maybe one of the JP kids (ha ha). So forget about the nasty stories. Brad, Angie and the kids are just fine and happy together.

Oh…so they are breaking up.AGAIN!!!And they are adopting a child.AGAIN!!!
And an “insider” told them!Impressive!
It’s funny that this “insider” is only giving informations when the mags have nothing else to say about the family.Like now:we haven’t seen Brad and Angie for a week so they are no news.But I don’t remember any insider during the Oscar period when the mags had plenty of things to say.Do you?
Just leave them alone!They are happy even if you like it or not!!!

What BS! I don’t buy those magazines but unfortunately many do so and even believe them. What bothers me is here in Italy that type of news gets publicated on main magazines and that’s even worst even though I can assure you that they are both much appreciated here in Europe not bothering too mush about their private life. Here in Europe people are interested in them only as actors.

There are only a few reliable celebrity sources out there. They include People and TMZ. TMZ is far less celeb friendly but their information is usually dead on. I try to remind people that Angelina and Brad sell a lot of magazines even when the information isn’t at all accurate. There’s really no reason for fans to become angry. Just don’t buy the rags.
