Angie Shrugs off Failure?
This is a though cookie. We all know “A Mighty Heart” did not pull in the numbers expected.
According to National Ledger:
Angelina Jolie has shrugged off her abysmal numbers and is back to work. The Box Office Guru notes that Paramount Vantage’s “A Mighty Heart” dropped 61% this weekend to an estimated $1.6M giving the Angelina Jolie pic just $7M in ten days. A $10M final seems likely, the report claims. Production was cheap, somewhere just north of $16 million, but they won’t make that back in North America it seems.
Sources are saying this woman is in a little of a career crisis. She needs another movie hit to get her out. Hopefully an Oscar nomination will help her get out of this funk. It was a great movie, I wonder why it did not do great. Could it be her persona? Her casted for this part? Or simply this was not a movie for the summer time blockbusters?
At least Angelina can shrug it off and continue working hard on the set of her new movie Wanted.

All she has to do is make another Tomb Raider and they’ll have plenty of money for the college tuition for a few of the kids.
