Penelope Cruz has said that she wants to follow in Angelina Jolie’s footsteps by adopting a baby, in addition to eventually having biological child of her own. Penelope told Marie Claire: “Of course I want to have kids. I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt.”

Halle Berry is the newest to blast Angelina Jolie for her foreign adoptions. Halle says Angelina and Brad Pitt have “forgotten” aobut American children and are wrong to adopt children from abroad when so many children in America need homes, Chocolate Magazine reports.

When asked if she will be adopting, Halle wouldn’t say one way or another, “I hope I have children one day - it’s not too late. I am looking forward to that,�? Halle says. “Maybe I will adopt somewhere down the road if that is the only way to bring a child into my life. There are lots of children that need a home in America. I feel we have forgotten about our own kids. With Brad and Angelina it’s whatever works for them.”

Brad Pitt is reportedly asking Angelina Jolie from adopting again in the near future. He wants to concentrate on the 4 children at home before adding to the household again. “Brad couldn’t be more proud of Angelina and their family but he wants time to invest a little in what they have already. Brad is not against having more children, adopted or otherwise. Angelina wants more but he has suggested they should wait a while - a couple of years maybe - before adding to their family again.”

US Weekly, started the rumor mill in March saying that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have already begun the process of adopting yet another child, this time a 1-year-old girl from Chad in central Africa, a child who’s color would match Zahara’s.

Chad’s Ministry of Family and Women, which processes adoptions, tells Us Weekly that Jolie has not submitted an application, but, a gossip close to the couple say they do have big family plans this year. “Brad has told people he and Angelina want to have two more kids in 2007,�? says a source close to the actor, 43. “Their plans include another biological child.�? Another “source” says, “They want seven or eight children.�?

Hear that ladies and gentleman? Another biological child. Guess only time will tell!

It looks like the rumors that Angie’s adoption of a 5th child aren’t entirely true. She’s still planning on adoption again, just not so soon.

Reports today are claiming that Angelina Jolie wants to adopt another girl from Africa for her burgeoning brood, right on the heels of her latest baby acquisition, Pax from Vietnam — but TMZ has learned that it’s definitely not true.

A source told a British tabloid that Angie wants to “balance” her family for the sake of her adopted daughter Zahara from Ethiopia. She’s got two little Asian boys, the thinking goes, so she needs another African girl to keep Z company.

But TMZ spoke to Jolie’s lawyer, Robert Offer, who told us that the rumor is definitely false. He says that he’s been involved in all of Jolie’s adoptions and that he hasn’t spoken to her about adopting any children from Chad, or any other country for that matter.

We’ll see, things move so quickly in The Land of Jolie so you never really know.

VietNamNet Bridge – On March 21, through the American adoption agency, Adoptions From the Heart, Angelina Jolie sent gifts and photos to the Tam Binh Orphanage.

The Orphanage’s director Nguyen Van Trung said that the Hollywood star made good her promise to send the photos taken during her first trip to the orphanage with her boyfriend at the end of 2006.

She also sent gifts worth tens of millions of VND to all employees and children, expressing her sincere gratitude to Tam Binh Orphanage for taking care of her foster child, Pax Thien Jolie.

According to Mr. Trung, Pax Thien Jolie is gradually integrating into his new family, though he is yet to get used to Western food. He added that Jolie didn’t promise to donate to the orphanage in the future.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly sold the first official pictures of Pax to People magazine for a figure between $1.75 and $2 million.

Looks like Angelina Jolie will have another nice little windfall to donate to charity—whenever she gets around to it. Sources (including this one) say the globetrotting actress and her not-quite-husband, Brad Pitt, have sold the first photos of their newest adoptee to People. We hear the price tag was between $1.75 million and $2 million, with Getty Images, which brokered the deal, taking a fee of between 5 and 10 percent. A People spokesperson calls that number “absurd,” but adds, “We don’t comment on the specifics on any negotiations.”

Jolie and Pitt adopted the three-year-old, named Pham Quang Sang, from a Vietnamese orphanage last week and immediately rebranded him Pax Thien Jolie, a name that combines the Latin word for “peace” with the Vietnamese for “sky.”

Pax and Angelina were photographed boarding the jet bound for America this morning. Pax is visibly stressed. That poor tyke has to be completely overwhelmed at this point and now he’s being whisked across the world to meet yet another new sibling.

Hopefully Pax will learn to be calm about his whirlwind life as Madd and Z are of theirs! Both are seen here sound asleep being carried onto the plane by handlers.

I just really hope that when the Jolie-Pitts all unite in the US, that they spend a long period of time just being together behind closed doors to give Pax some time to get used to and form a bond with the family and learn the language, and to give the other children a while to adjust to a sibling dropped into the mix (age wise) of their already established hierarchy.

Angelina Jolie left behind a thank you message at the Tam Binh orphanage that Pax has been living in. The note reads:

“Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son. He has been with you for years. I’m sure he will miss your beautiful caring staff as much as you will miss him.”

Angelina Jolie arrived in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi, via private on Monday to finish procedures to take Pax to the United States. Angie and the kids were met at Hanoi airport by four cars and driven to the historic Metropole hotel in the city center. She has stayed out of public view since picking up Pax from the orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City.

The adoption will become final once US embassy officials in Hanoi approve the paperwork for the child to travel to the United States. The US-based adoption agency that Angie used said in a statement on Friday that she began the process last summer. The length of time for adoptions in Vietnam varies, but the average is about six months.

Angelina Jolie let her son Maddox choose the orphan who would become his brother, it was revealed last night.

The movie beauty, 31, was determined to adopt another child from a poor background.

But she found it heartbreaking to decide which of the dozens of kids to pick from the orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

So she let her eldest child, five-year-old Maddox (pictured), make the choice.

And Maddox – adopted from Cambodia in 2002 – singled out three-year-old Pham Quang Sang.

The actress has renamed him Pax Thien, meaning Peaceful Sky, and has got him a passport so she can take him to the US next week.

A source said: “She was almost moved to tears when she saw these kids who desperately need a home, knowing she could adopt only one.

“It was too hard for her to pick so she let Maddox play with them and then asked which of the children he’d like to be his new brother.�?

As well as Maddox, the Lara Croft star has an Ethiopian child Zahara, two, and her tot Shiloh – fathered by Brad Pitt – who was born last May.

Brad, 43, stayed in the US as unwed couples cannot adopt in Vietnam.

Yesterday he visited the offices of director Ridley Scott, 69, in LA, then left on his Ducati bike.

Angelina told a Vietnamese newspaper she is now taking a break from films. She said: “I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life.

“I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment.�?
