Angelina Jolie Watch

First thing. These pictures are blurry. It’s not your screen. But hey, they are recent pictures of the family so I’ll take them.

Second thing. These photos were actually taken on Friday so I don’t know if this was just a day trip of if the family is still in Santa Barbara. Time will tell.

And now for the pictures. Looks like Zee is sucking on that thumb and has some uber cute pink luggage. Mad is decked out in camouflage(he does love it) and sunglasses. Pax has on a white sweatshirt and blue jeans-I think. Shiloh is being carried by Dad. Randi has some pics of her actually walking. It’s hard to believe she’s 20 months old. Angelina is decked out in a thick jacket so we can’t see the baby bumb(untill I hear otherwise it’s a baby bump).

On to the pics.

Last week the Jolie-Pitts spent some time in Brad’s hometown of Springfield of Missouri. On Friday(January 4th) they took the kids to a local Chuck E Cheese. Brad, Angie, Jane Pitt(Brad’s mom) and several nieces and nephews ate pizza and played arcade games for approximately two hours. Angie carried Shiloh while the older kids played. At one point Brad even dolled our tokens.

This was the second pizza meal for the family who also dined with a larger familial group at Arri’s Pizza two days before. Apparently the family enjoys hanging out in the small city(population 150,000) because no one pays much attention to the superstars.

“They like Springfield because no one ever bothers them,�? says a source.

Arri’s co-owner Tani Kremer found the kids extremely polite with them intoning “please” and “thank you” when they wanted more pizza. And let’s face it. Who doesn’t want more pizza?

Unfortunately the family only got to spend a few days with the Pitt clan before heading off to California for the Critic’s Choice Awards.

All three of the younger Jolie-Pitt kids have been named to Forbes Hollywood’s Most Influential Infants List(Maddox was too old to be considered). Shiloh took the top spot which is based on media attention and web presence. The youngest Jolie-Pitt snagged a reported $4.1 million payday from People magazine for her first cover only days after her birth.   A star had been born-literally.  E-Poll Market Research found that Shiloh in over 2,000 articles.

Zahara is fast on her baby sister’s heels, securing the number three list(darn that Suri Cruise her unending cuteness). Forbes points out that Zahara was seen sporting a Valentino that exactly matched her mom’s. And what photog can resist all that attitude and moxy?

Pax took home the number five slot even though his web media presence isn’t quite that of his sibs being part of the famous brood gives him a bit of edge. Of course his hip messy mane and shy smile don’t hurt.

Danielle Friedland of celebrity-babies.com said, “We can’t really identify with the lives celebrities lead and the luxuries they have. But what we can identify with is their parenting and their love for their children.”

I’d say congratulations to the Shiloh, Pax and Zahara but I’m sure they are more interested in play dates, crayons and juice cups than any celebrity kid lists.

Brad’s Birthday is on the 18th and you can be sure that Angelina and the kids have something special in store. Papa Pitt turns 44 this year and according to OK! Magazine he can expect hand made cards from the kids.

Maddox, Pax and Zahara have wielded crayons and scissors for the big day. A source close the family says, “Zahara loves coloring and said she wanted to make a card for Daddy. Then Maddox and Pax joined in. They were drawing and doodling, trying to outdo each other.”

Rumor has it that Angie gifted Brad with a motorcycle last year. While I’m sure he loved the new toy, nothing pleases him more than spending time with his family. “His family is the best birthday gift Brad could ever have,�? says the source. “Shiloh’s always been a daddy’s girl, and nothing makes Brad smile more than playing with her.�?

Happy early birthday to Brad.  I’m sure you’ll have a great day.

Mad and Angelina giggled it up at Brad’s press conference earlier today. Brad announced progress and additions to his Make it Right project in New Orleans 9th Ward.

Angelina and Maddox took a jaunt to Edwards-Lowell Fur Boutique in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon.

Angelina toted a shopping bag full of purchases. Good to see one of the kids out and about. I do believe this is the first glimpse of any Jolie-Pitt youngsters since they’ve hit California. No word on whether Angelina was actually buying fur. I’ve never seen her wear it so I’m going to guess no. Did Maddox just lose that tooth or have I not been paying attention?

Beowulf trounced the competition this past weekend The North American box office raked in $28.1. IMAX 3-D accounted for 40% of that total.
The rest of the top five were: 2. Bee Movie, $14.3 million, 3. American Gangster, $13.2 million,(good movie) 4. Fred Claus, $12 million, 5. Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, $10 million.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are vacating their plush New York digs for….plush California digs. This was Maddox’s last day of school as demonstrated by all the stuff his mom has to carry out. Like mom’s everywhere she must be asking herself how such a small person accumulates so much stuff over such a short period of time.

US Weekly is reporting that Angelina starts filming The Changeling next week and that Brad will begin work on State of Play during the latter part of October.

State of Play is based on a British political miniseries. Brad plays Cal McCaffrey a former campaign manager, who is now part of the team of investigative journalists looking to solve a case involving his former boss play by Ed Norton(nice to see them together again). The film’s cast also includes Helen Mirrem, Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams and Robin Wright Penn.

I’m not sure if the information about them filming at the same time is correct. Brad and Angie don’t usually work on films at the same time. Maybe they’ve worked out some sort of arrangement where he works a week and she works a week. US Weekly has been known to get a detail or two wrong….

Maddox even got a going away card from his classmates at the school. The oldest Jolie-Pitt sibling attends this particular kind of school because the curriculum is the same worldwide. This was his fourth school. He’s also an alumn of schools in Los Angeles, New Orleans(said to be the most relaxed) and Prague.

I’m been wondering about all this school changing for Maddox. I’m guessing he won’t be harmed by it too much because it’s what he’s used to. I imagine it’s a bit like being a kid with parents in the military you get used to it.

It wasn’t actually night though it was pretty dark as Angelina picked up Maddox on Thursday during a downpour. Love the trench coach. I’m hearing through the grapevine that she might start filming The Changeling in California later this month.

Here’s some video of Angelina picking Maddox up from school yesterday. The guy screaming about the shot kills me. The school worker is supposed to be blocking the shot. Duh. Is it me or do you get the idea that Angelina is better at dealing with the paps than Brad? She always manages to have a smile on her face. Maybe it’s a guy thing. Protection of the family and all that.

Angie grabbed Maddox from school yesterday(Tuesday) wearing a lovely yellow top and black pencil skirt. I like her in black and white but I think yellow might be her color. What say you?

Angelina and Brad took time out on Tuesday(September 25th) to treat Pax and Maddox to the New York opening of Jump at the Union Square Theater.

The show doesn’t actually have any words. Check out the synopsis from Jump’s website.

JUMP isn’t just about jumping. It’s also about flipping, punching and kicking all executed in a jaw-dropping, gasp-inducing and gut-busting manner. This London and Fringe Festival hit has finally landed in New York – and landed with gravity-defying ease. Although JUMP is set in a traditional Korean home, its inhabitants are anything but. The entire family – the strict grandfather, the no-nonsense mother, the drunken uncle, the daughter and her suitor – love nothing more than to challenges each other in martial arts and acrobatic displays. Their skills are put to good use when burglars break into their home and get to experience the family’s talent first hand.

The Jolie-Pitts were joined by their pediatrician Dr. Jane Aronson, a New York doc who specializes in treating adopted children. Dr. Aronson(right) is pictured with her partner Diane Leo and their adopted kids Desalegn and Benjamin.

This show sounds like a lot of fun. I’ll bet the boys had a terrific time with all that flipping and banging and twisting. I can imagine they’ll be reenacting it for weeks.

Today Angelina, Brad, Maddox and a sleepy Zahara took a helicopter ride out of New York City to unknown parts. I was was surprised to see Angelina glam it up in white shorts. She never wears shorts. She will wear a short skirt so I shouldn’t be too surprised.

Brad’s still sporting the cap. He really does hate his movie hair. I actually don’t think it’s that bad. Angelina also wore a lovely white blouse, her favorite Michael Kors ballet flats and a Gerard Darel knit bag.

Wonder where they went? On a tour of the city maybe? I hope Zahara woke up before all the fun ended.I’m glad they were able to get some family fun time without us pesky gossip hounds around.

You know my mom is a pretty stylish lady but she never showed up at school looking like this. Angelina was flawless yesterday in her black dress, black boots, oversized shades and red nail polish. Maddox was hot too with his Mohawk and uber cuteness. Does anyone else think that girl in the umbrella stroller is already a total Maddox groupie?

Finally! Brad is showing some skin. Yummy. Yesterday, Papa Pitt had some time off and was able to join Angelina for the daily Maddox pick up. Interesting that they are all wearing white tops. I wonder if Maddox demands that his entourage dress alike to be seen with him. I thought Zahara was the diva but I might be wrong. If Angelina shows up in gray pants and a mohawk we’ll know who’s the boss.
