Aurora over at Between the Sheets(of course an Angie fan runs a sex blog) loves Taking Lives so I dug out this gag reel from back when Angelina was single and only had one kid. Taking Lives didn’t get that great reviews but I enjoyed it. What’s your favorite Angelina film?
According to moviehole, Angelina Jolie is rumored to be staring opposite Pierce Brosnan in a Thomas Crown Affair sequel that is also a remake of a classic caper movie.
Irish Dream Time Productions has offered her the role, in the Topkapi Affair.
Earlier this year Brosnan talked a bit about it.
“(W)e just took Thomas Crown off the shelf, kind of dusted it off, and took Topkapi, which is much loved, and is also in the canon of the MGM library, so it didn’t cost us anything. This version of Topkapi will have a different part, different woman, and different affair… and we’re using wonderful locations.”
This powerful duo wont be around for maybe the next 16-18 months..that is if Angelina does not “retire” for good from her impending hiatus she keeps threatening us with.

Angelina Jolie has come under fire for wearing what is dubbed as ’semi-blackface’ to play the role of Marianne Pearl in the film ‘A Mighty Heart.’ E! Online’s ‘Reel Girl’ Caroline Kepnes blasts Jolie and her hubby Brad Pitt and ‘Plan B productions in a scathing critique of the decision to allow Jolie to transform her look sop much to play Pearl. The film is a biopic about slain journalist Daniel Pearl and his dignified widow, Marianne Pearl.
Every time I see Angelina Jolie in a shot from A Mighty Heart, with her pin curls and her darkened skin, my skin crawls. It just seems wrong. Like, I want to ask Plan B Productions, Why wouldn’t you hire someone who bears even the slightest natural resemblance? Halle Berry could have rocked it as Marianne Pearl. If not, then you take on your white chick, and let her be. Somehow, a prosthetic nose is fine. A fat suit I can handle. But watching Ms. Holier and Sexier Than Thou and Me and Everyone We Know parade around in semi-blackface makes me think something is wrong with the world.

The film will be shown at the 60th annual Cannes Film Festival which opens Wednesday. Jolie and her boyfriend Brad are expected to attend.

Barbarella producers think Sienna is perfect for the £55million update of the 1968 fantasy classic, which turned Jane Fonda into a sex symbol and film icon.
“Sienna is at the top of our wish list and discussions are under way,? revealed a source close to the film’s makers. “Not only is she gorgeous but she is a modern, sassy girl with just the right image. Like the young Jane Fonda she combines sex appeal and acting ability.?
Angelina Jolie has also been considered for the role but her high asking price – nearly £10million – is said to make her casting unlikely.
“To be blunt, Sienna is younger and cheaper,? added the source.
The new film is being penned by British screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who have written the last three Bond films, including Daniel Craig’s debut in Casino Royale. That has become the most successful Bond ever, grossing more than $600million (£300million).
Their brief is to reinvent Barbarella the way they reinvented Bond in Casino Royale, taking the character back to basics. Purvis said: “The producers liked what we did with Casino Royale. Our job will be to reintroduce Barbarella to a new generation of moviegoers.?
In the original, Barbarella was a sex kitten who stripped naked in the opening minutes before taking off to a mysterious planet where she is attacked by vampire dolls and has various surreal sexual experiences.
The new film will keep the sex and special effects, while playing down the camp quality that has dated the picture.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it’s pretty likely that Angelina gets more for her films because she’s a better actress, prettier and has greater poise. But that’s just me.
