Angelina Jolie Watch

According to US Magazine, the Jolie-Pitt clan will be spending Christmas in the Big Easy. The celebrity magazine caught up with Angie last night at the Hot Pink Party in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward.

I’m assuming that the Hot Pink Party is part of Brad’s Make it Right project. They have put up hot pink house size boxes all over the construction site to make and artistic-political statement.

Angie said she’s had to finish up The Changeling but they’d be back for Christmas. “I’m working on a film but we’ll be back for Christmastime. We’ll be here through Christmas.�?

She also denied recent pregnancy rumors with and emphatic “No”.

After taking the time to chat with locals, she, Brad, and Maddox enjoyed a performance by rock great Jerry Lee Lewis. Brad even played the fan as he snapped pictures of the iconic performer.

Mad and Angelina giggled it up at Brad’s press conference earlier today. Brad announced progress and additions to his Make it Right project in New Orleans 9th Ward.

Finally we’ve spotted the happy couple and they aren’t in California. Angelina and Brad are currently in New Orleans where Brad is set to make a HUGERIFIC announcement on tomorrow’s Today Show. I’m sure it has to do with the Make it Right Project. Earlier this month Brad pledged $5 million to the building 100 Green houses in New Orleans’ Katrina-devastated Ninth Ward.

Angelina had a giddy encounter with one excited fan/Ninth Ward resident. Ivory Webb took a chance and approached Angelina, while she and Brad were visiting the project area and the kids were playing peak-a-boo. Of course Angelina was absolutely lovely and even invited Webb to a Monday night party.

Web later said, “It is really nice. They’re showing us they ain’t forgot about us.”

In my search around the internet, I found this (funny to me) blogging article by someone that supposedly lives across the street from our beloved Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt…. She says it’s a drinking game, I have no clue… It’s still adorable…

The Newest Drinking Game in New Orleans

Ok I know Brangelina moved in a while ago but living across the street just keeps getting better and better.

About a week ago, I am lying in bed, it’s 2am, I hear a gaggle of girls;

“You do it…�? *giggles*
“No, you do it…�? *giggles*

“BRAD!!�? *giggles* (the patter of feet on sidewalk) “Oh, my God�? *giggles*

then again at about 3:30am;
*giggles*
“I can’t believe I’m doing this�? *giggles*

“BRAD!!!�? *giggles* (feet hitting sidewalk as giggles fade)

Once again at about 4:45am;

“Ready??�? *giggles*
(altogether now) “1,2,3…BRAD�? *giggles, giggles, giggles* (they all turn and run toward Decatur)

This has happened a few times in the past few weeks all girls until last night:

3am
*manly chuckles*
“Angie, I Love You!!!�? *chuckles*
“I can’t believe you did that�? *chuckles*
“Oh my God, man.�? *chuckles*
“Shut up, man�? (chuckles fade as they head back down the sidewalk)

Angelina Jolie has been in Africa working for the UN, while Brad Pitt is working on Benjamin Button. It looks like Jane Pitt, Brad’s mom, is watching the kids while mom and dad are away. E! Online has a really cute picture dubbed ‘Nanny 911′ that is of a woman they believe is Jane Pitt pushing the little ones along in the double stroller with this caption: “We’re pretty sure that’s Brad’s mom, Jane Pitt, wheeling Li’l Shiloh and Zahara around the French Quarter while their mom is in Africa. After all, only a grandma would take the babies out while wearing a foot brace…a nanny would have sued for workman’s comp already.”

I’m really thinking that this move to NoLa is a great thing for the Jolie-Pitts. Angelina is looking like she’s handling the death of her mom okay, and if she’s like the rest of us, getting out and about into the sunlight and spending time with our loved ones, helps a ton. It’s great to see them out with the kids again!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were recently out and about in New Orleans with Zahara and Shiloh. Baby Zee has excellent taste in chips in my opinion, and it’s good to know that even Brangelina has Starbucks urges every now and then!

“Having three kids running around in hotel rooms, or from one rented house to the next, is not easy. Somebody saw our messy luggage the other day, and I had to explain that we’ve been living out of the same four suitcases for four months!�? Angelina Jolie recently told one reporter

Despite Angelina’s vow to help the worlds needy, she excuses the family staying in luxury hotels saying that it’s necessary to avoid the paparazzi - which I have no doubt! She said: “I always try to be careful to avoid dangerous situations. Sadly, we have to stay in five-star hotels when we have paparazzi following us. We did stay in a one-room shack in the middle of the Cambodian jungle because nobody else was there. But when you have kids, especially a six-month-old baby, you need clean water and salad for them.�?

Residents in New Orleans say Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are are a welcome addition to the city. “They’re always trying to make a difference. They’re always trying to help out,” said Christina Cody, a waitress at a nearby restaurant, “I want them to come in and eat,” she said.

The copule has teamed up with Global Green USA in a design competition to rebuild parts of the city heavy hit by Katrina. The project is to begin in Holy Cross, in NoLas Ninth Ward in early 2007 and will include apartments, family homes, a community center and a day care.

Real estate records for Angelina and Brad’s new home in the French Quarter of New Orleans list the buyer name as “Mondo Bongo Trust”. The records go on to list the $3.5 million home with 6 beds and 4.5 baths as having a spiral staircase, elevator, gourmet kitchen, a large private courtyard and a separate two-story guest house. The main house is built of early 1830s masonry. It also has private parking for two cars (a rarity in the French Quarter).

Neighbor, Rayna Nielsen, who lives across the street said, “It’s great if they’re here to stay and to be a part of the community.”.

So, there’s new information on Angelina and Brads move to New Orleans. Apparently the couple has bought a 3.5 million dollar mansion in the French Quarter. The home has six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Angelina apparently wanted to move to NoLa because, “She’s interested in befriending normal moms so she can do things with the kids.”. It’s also being said that she was asking for places that she can do charity work and has been interested in helping a school for disadvantaged kids.

This makes the 4th property that Brangelina owns together. Can I buy 4 properties in a little over 2 years?
