Maddox Jolie-Pitt is much cooler that you and he knows it. Check this guy out. Wearing one wrist band and sunglasses Maddox and mom Angelina caught a departing flight earlier today. Not sure where Angie is headed but word on street is that she’d just started already started her fittings for the Salt press tour when he publicist’s house was broken into. Last Thursday Angelina’s longtime stylist Jennifer Rade had three boxes of dresses stolen from her home.

“Angelina was just starting the fitting process for pieces to wear when she begins promoting Salt. Every designer who was sending pieces was trying to send their best stuff,” a source told the NY Post.

Gosh didn’t Angie just finish wrapping up Salt. Is it time to think about the press junket already?

After suffering a minor concussion, Angelina Jolie was back at work yesterday at the Queensboro Bridge. Angelina was taken to the hospital Friday after she suffered an injury while filming. I’m sure they’ve covered the scrape between her eyes up with makeup (or maybe they could use it for they could use it for a scene?). In any case, I can’t see anything on the picture. Maybe some high res images will surface later. I’m hearing rumbling that filming ends this week or next.

That probably means that Brad will start shooting soon. According to IMBD, he’s officially signed to The Lost City of Z (2010)and Moneyball (2011). The Lost City of Z is based on the the true story of Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett who diasappeared looking for an ancient city in Brazil. Brad in a sweeping epic. Yum.

Angelina Jolie suffered minor injuries on the Salt set yesterday.  She was cut between the eyes during a stunt and taken to the hospital.  Here’s the official statement from the production company:

“This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

A source told Radar Online that Angelina was actually hit by a light. “Angelina was…on the Long Island set today and was hit in the head by a light. She got a small cut in the middle of her forehead just above the eyes and was bleeding. When she was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, doctors treated the cut and determined she had a slight concussion,” the source confirmed.

Glad to know that everything seems okay with Angelina though I wonder if she should have resumed filming even with a minor concussion.

Angelina Jolie munched on gooey chocolate cake yesterday on the Salt set.  According to the Daily Mail, the confection was part of a birthday celebration for director Simon West. (I can’t seem to find anything official connecting him to the film. He did direct Angelina in the first Tomb Raider.  My understanding is that Phillip Noyce is the lead director thought I suppose that doesn’t rule West out as part of the directorial team.)

These photos were taken near a bridge  in Queens, NY.   The set was full of NYPD cars. Looks like a continuation of a scene they shot last month where Angelina was arrested, handcuffed and surrounded by police officers. Brad and Angelina’s trip to Cannes was short. They usually spend a little more family time while in France.  Hopefully they  were able to enjoy a little time off even though Brad was there for work.

Angelina Jolie was spotted leaving her trailer on Sunday(April 27) after filming scenes in a New York subway. She’s wearing the same black wig she wore while shooting the Salt arrest scenes last month.

AJ Watch has more photos of Angelina’s high speed stunts from yesterday’s shoot.  As many readers said, the more we see the more we can’t wait for the movie to come out. Enjoy.

Angelina Jolie filmed stunts atop a train and secured with safety wires today on Interstate 787 in Albany, New York.  Albany Twitter users say the entire city’s been rerouted while Salt shoots there. Most seemed take the inconvenience in stride.

A stunt double actually filmed several scenes before Angelina turned up in Albany. The town expects to rake in $1 million dollars during  the two weeks the crew is in town. Salt is expected to film until May 4th. A PR person for the film wouldn’t tell a local newspaper when Angelina’s actually scheduled to be in town. A pap said the rule is “rule is selectively enforced; insiders tell the photographers everything they need to get their shots.”

That doesn’t mean it’s selectively enforced, it just means they probably paid someone off. Enjoy the photos.

Angelina Jolie arrived on the Salt set yesterday(Thursday) morning wearing her signature black and carrying War of Necessity, War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars by Richard N. Haass.  Haas is the president of the Council on Foreign Relations which Angelina worked with back in October when the Jolie-Pitt Foundation underwrote the COFR’s International Law and Justice.

I knew it was only a matter of time before PETA addressed Angelina wearing fur for Salt filming this week. I was pretty sure that she wouldn’t wear real fur but couldn’t be sure. According to PETA’s the fur in her Salt costume is indeed fake:

Yes, Angelina Jolie was spotted wearing what appeared to be a chinchilla-trimmed hat and cape on the set of her latest movie, spurring one of the best blog headlines that we’ve seen all week. But our L.A. staffers—knowing that Angelina is a longtime fur foe—were on it faster than Liza Minelli can open a bottle of Scotch, and they’ve received word from the film’s publicist that (phew!) the chinchilla is actually synchilla.

Don’t worry, Ange, we knew a big-hearted U.N. Goodwill Ambassador like yourself would never wear the skins of achingly adorable little animals who go “coo, coo” when they’re excited and like to hold things in their cute little pinkish-gray hands. We just knew it.

While Brad Pitt tools around France for Inglorius Bastards, Angelina is still hard at work on the Salt. We saw a few photos of Angelina earlier today in this fur trimmed poncho and matching hat. Now we have lots more of her filming a boating scene in the same costume.

In other news, we’ve all heard the rumors that Angelina fainted on set earlier this week. Surprise, surprise it was all a load of hooey. “I can confirm that those rumors are in fact not true!” a rep for Sony told Us Magazine.

The reason for Angelina’s fainting was attributed to everything from dieting to overwork to, this the worst one for me, to drug use.  Lot of speculation like this starts with rumors about Angelina’s weight. I’d love to see her gain a little weight.  But she’s naturally thin, works long hours and has six kids.  It doesn’t have to be nearly as sinister as everyone likes to make it.

The wait is finally over. We have new photos of Angelina Jolie filming Salt. This time she’s not wearing basic black or a blond wig but a Russian inspired gray fur ensemble. Angelina has so many different looks for the film because she plays a CIA agent on the run. Evelyn Salt stands accused of spying for the Russians and has to change her look to evade arrest. (Though one scene suggests they catch up with her.) I don’t think they have plans to shoot any actual scenes in Russia though Liev Schreiber plays Evelyn Salt’s Russian ally. This film will probably be one of my favorites because I do love a good thriller and this one looks like it fits the bill.

Angelina is still working on her arrest scene for Salt. Looks like she’s having a pretty good time during a filming break. These scenes were shot yesterday(March 21) on the streets of Manhattan outside of St. Bart’s church. St. Bartholomew’s is a historic, progressive Episcopalian Church where Start Jones’ lavish 2004 wedding took place.

Because the scene takes place at a church I’m assuming it’s the funeral scene we’ve heard about where the NYPD’s Pipes & Drums of the Emerald Society are set to appear.  In these shots, Angelina’s still covered in the mystery powrder or dust.  When filming began, before the arrests shots, Angelina was powder free. Wonder what happened between Evelyn Salt and the cops to cover them with the white stuff?

We’ve got new photos of Angelina Jolie’s arrest scene for Salt. The photos, shot today, show Angelina and the arresting officers covered in some sort or white powder.  Was there and explosion? Maybe a fire? In one photo Angelina is wresting away from the police.  I wonder what the chronology is for the NYC and Washington DC scenes.  Is she wearing the blond wig in DC because she escaped from the custody or was Evelyn Salt working to prove her innocence in the capital only to be hunted down in New York.  Also why is there such a crowd around her? Is there a parade. We know there’s a funeral scene. Maybe it’s a large funeral?

Oh the possibilities. I’m already intrigued by the movie and it’s only just started filming.

Finally more pictures of Angelina filming Salt in New York. This time she’s being arrested.  Too bad,  just last week Evelyn Salt was scaling buildings and on the run.  I really like the filming outdoors.  It’s fun to see Angelina tricked out in  various disguises and doing her own stunts.   Just Jared reports that the photos were taken on March 10. Wonder why they took so long to surface. Perhaps JJ make a mistake and meant yesterday. The last photos I posted with this particular wig and clothing were from scenes filmed last Saturday.  Anyone know for sure when the pics were taken?

In other family news, Brad’s Plan B Productions will produce the Night Manager. The film, based on the John Le Carre’s novel of the same name, centers around a “night manager of a European hotel who is recruited by intelligence agents to infiltrate the network of a dangerous international arms dealer.”

Angelina Jolie wore a black wig for Salt scenes yesterday.  If I’m not mistaken, these scenes  feature  the NYPD’s Pipes & Drums of the Emerald Society.  According to the New York Post, the renowned band is playing in Midtown  for a Salt funeral scene.   Band member are active and retired police officers of Irish decent.

Angelina and Brad take turns filming so that at least one parent can be with the kids.  Yesterday Brad took the oldest boys to lunch at a kid friendly NYC eatery.

Evelyn Salt wears numerous disguises as she evades capture and tries to clear her name. Perhaps this signals the conclusion of Angelina’s blonde wig filming.   Liev Schreiber plays Evelyn’s friend who’s also a player in Russian intelligence. Interesting that his character has filmed in both New York and Washington DC. This will be a very interesting thriller.
