St. John has decided ended their contract with Angelina Jolie. “It was a great run we had with Mario Testino, David Lipman and, of course, Angelina Jolie,” chief executive officer Glenn McMahon said. “Three years is a long time to maintain any campaign, and we felt it was time to do something new and different. [The campaign] ties in nicely to our whole rebranding initiative.”

The brand is is unveiling a new $400 million color campaign with four new models. It features four New York City vignettes shot in locations Times Square and Central Park. The ads will launch in the August issue of Vanity Fair

Angelina channels old Hollywood glamor in her latest St. John ads. According to the UK’s Daily Mail(sometimes a dicey source), the photos were taken a few weeks before she confirmed her pregnancy at the Spirit Awards. That seems unlikely to me. A few weeks before the big reveal she wore a loose fitting outfit on the SAG red carpet. I doubt she’d be able to pull off the tight fitting dress that we see in the pics. Usually these shoots are taken months in advance. Angelina’s been with the classic, luxury line since 2005. Apparently the relationship is going well for both parties.

The family has been spotted in Texas where Brad is shooting his latest film. No pictures of Angie and the have surfaced yet. I say bravo to them for getting a little peace.

Us Magazine has learned that stories of Angelina’s firing as the St. John spokesmodel are false.

“Rumors that St John has fired Angelina Jolie are untrue,” the company’s spokesperson tells Us. “She appears in the current St John’s campaign and she will appear in the upcoming Spring campaign as well.”

Good to know we’ll have at least one more season of Angelina in these beautiful ads.
