Angelina Jolie Watch

Thanks to Pink is the New Blog we know that Angelina and Brad took the three oldest kids to a movie at Southpark Meadows in Austin at some point during the weekend. We’re not sure what the family saw but PINB seems to think it was either Nim’s Island or Horton Hears a Who.

Austin360.com reports that Brad’s Tree of Life filming will wrap in approximately three weeks which means the baby(or babies) probably won’t be born in Texas as it’s been speculated. The area has been inundates with paps. A couple even posed as wedding planners to snap pics of a local hotel where the family was rumored to be staying. That was completely false. The family is actually staying at a  former pro wrestler’s home.

Angelina and Brad were also spotted at the University of Texas Harry Ransom Center. No word on what they were doing there but they’ve got lots of great exhibits going on. I’ll bet a picture of two will turn up. Hopefully the paps kept a respectable distance.

Brad and Angie took the older kids out for some goodies and game shopping at a Texas Game Stop on Monday afternoon. Looks like Pax and Zahara were more interested in the sweet treats they picked up at a nearby convenience store. Is Mad carrying a little wallet? That’s just awfully cute. He seems like the kind of kid that would stash some money away. I wonder what game Maddox picked up. I believe I see some chocolate in Zahara’s dainty little hand.(A girl after my own heart.)Shiloh was probably taking her afternoon beauty sleep. A cover girl has to get her rest. I’m not sure if I’m like the no-goatee Brad. I was sort of digging the facial hair. Angelina is glowing as always. Can’t wait to welcome the newest Jolie-Pitt.

Angelina and the kids were spotted on Brad’s Tree of Life set today. Zahara is uber cute in her pink helmet. I wonder where Mad’s protective gear is? I don’t know what the recommendation is regarding scooters and helmets. Angelina gets bigger by the minute. Wonder when this baby(or babies) is due. Celebrity Baby Scoop thinks she might be as far as six months along. If she is that far along, she’ll give birth at some point in June. If the twin rumor is true, she’ll probably deliver early. Shiloh was born on May 27th. It’d be pretty neat or terribly annoying to have a sib born on the same day. I think Miz Shiloh could handle a birthday mate.

Angie was spotted yesterday boarding a light aircraft at a Smithville, Texas airfield. Rumor has it that Maddox joined her on the flight but he doesn’t appear in any of the photos so who knows. “I love the freedom of it,” Angelina has said. “It’s the greatest feeling in the world.�? I’m not sure how big the cockpit of the plane is but I’d venture to say she’s a little cramped.

I was a little concerned when I saw she was flying at this stage of her pregnancy but I rethought that. If she shouldn’t be flying, she shouldn’t be flying, pregnant or not.

According to the Daily Mail, the family is staying on a 270 acre ranch in the small southern community. I’m sure the kids are loving that. Lots of room. No photogs.

After dropping Maddox off at school, earlier today Angelina stopped off at an Austin Barnes and Noble to pick up some reading material.

I was right! Okay so maybe I wasn’t right. The residents of Bastrop County were actually right but I reported what they saw. I’m sort of tickled with myself. A lot of other folks ignored that little Google Alert but it had a ring of authenticity to me. Brad, Angie and the kids are indeed in Texas.

On to what you really want to see. We’ve got our first pics of Brad from the Tree of Life set. Randi has all the musings and pics about movie. I’ll only post one pic because I really do try and make Angelina the lead on my blog. Not that I don’t love the Bradster but because we have an awesome Brad blogger on the network I try to let her take the lead in the Brad centered projects. Unless of course he takes his shirt off. Then all it’s every woman for herself.

Angelina and Brad have been spotted in Bastrop County Texas. Brad is in the Austin area to shoot Tree of Life with Sean Penn. Brad replaces the late Heath Ledger in the film written and directed Terrance Malick (The Thin Red Line). Per the usual, routine it’s Brad’s turn to shoot a film since Angelina has wrapped up The Changeling.

A local daycare got the following letter. Clearly it points to our famous family.

“For a short term period beginning in later February, a very high profile family will enroll their preschool children at our center. Over the next few weeks, you may notice extra security around the center. The security is for everyone’s safety. The family has asked that they be treated like everyone else….”

Some have seen Angie at Walmart. Good for her if she was able to be out and about like a regular person. No pictures have surfaced-yet. It’ll be interesting to see how a smaller town treats the celebs. I’ve noticed that celebrities are able to breath a little easier in South(Brad says that about New Orleans) and if they are in a smaller area it might even better for them during the pregnancy.

So far the residents seem to have a healthy but not obsessive interest in the couple.

“Well, I’m curious. And so we’ll see how it comes out. I’m sure we’ll get to see them somewhere somehow and that’ll be fun, and that’s an excitement that usually doesn’t come to a town like us,�? Smithville resident Sandy Hightower said.
