Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood gave an exclusive interview to MTV. Looks like Angelina’s presence was a surprise to the interviewer.

Video:Angelina Jolie Does New York

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

The family is having a grand old time in the Big Apple. Friday, Angelina took the three oldest kids to Lee’s Art Shop. Angie and kids always hit up Lee’s when they are in New York.   Lee’s is a four story Manhattan landmark that features every art supply under the sun.  They’ve even got a remodeled toy department on the second floor. Click on the pics below to make them larger.

Friday night Angelina attended a Changeling Dinner at Il Bucco. For the occasion she rocked out a gray trench that matched her eyes. I really like her hair a bit longer with just a hint of curl.

Il Bucco is a well known Italian restaurant that was actually started by and independent filmmaker. Though Angie attended solo she was joined by the rest of the Changeling cast.

Video:Sneak Peak of Angelina Jolie in ‘Changeling’

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

ET just released an exclusive sneak peak of Changeling. The clip includes short interview with Angelina Jolie and director Clint Eastwood. We’ve seen most of these clips but there a few new portions.

Extended Trailer of Angelina Jolie in The Changeling

Friday, September 12th, 2008

This list movies looks deeply disturbing. Remember folks the film is based on a true story. Angelina plays the mom of a missing boy that has supposedly been returned but Mom has her doubts. In the movie, Collins is made to look like an unift mother and eventually committed to an asylum. Christine’s insistence that this wasn’t her son eventually helped expose corruption in the LAPD.

Angelina has said that she pulled on characteristics of her own mother for the roll. She talked about taking on the roll shortly after her mothers death, “I lost my mother a few months before (shooting) the film,” she said. “To me she’s very much like my mother — my mother was very passive in many ways and very, very sweet but when it came to her children she was a lion.

“It was a way to kind of revisit my mother after (her) passing, spend time with her.”

The Changeling opens on Friday, October 24. You can watch the HD trailer at Yahoo! Movies.

This film looks like it might be an Oscar contender.
Will you be the first in line?

Video:Angelina Jolie’s PSA for Wold Refugee Day

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

Angelina Jolie has recorded a Public Service Announcement to bring awareness to Friday’s World Refugee Day.

“They have survived war, they have survived displacement, they have survived rape, they have survived hunger and disease,” Angelina says during the spot. “For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day.”

The dialouge is accompanied by photos of refugees around the world. An article penned by Angelina will appear in U.S. papers on Friday as part of the Word Refugee Day activities.

Other activities include a replica of a Darfur Village in London’s Trafalgar Square. Rome’s Colosseum will be lit with the refugee agency’s logo.

Video:Angelina Jolie Talks ‘Sin City’ and ‘Wanted’ With MTV

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Angie’s really doing her bit for Wanted. This time our sinewy action star sat down with MTV to talk about why she’s took the physical role and her thoughts on a possible role in Sin City 2. If included some bits of the interview but you’ll need to click on clip to hear the entire thing.

MTV: You’ve done your share of action films. Why another one?

Jolie: I was itching to do something that was physical, because I had done some emotional films and I had been at home with the kids. I didn’t know that there was anything original out there [until] I came across this script. One, it has a great story. A lot of action movies are kind of lacking in that. It’s got a dark sense of humor and it’s wild, and the stunts — I knew that they were going to be done in an original way. I knew that the director [Timur Bekmambetov] would do this movie in a way that would make it different than any other action movie.

MTV: This is your first action flick since “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” I would think it’s a little different rolling around with James McAvoy than with Brad?

Jolie: Well, you know Brad was … [Laughs.] I’ll always prefer rolling around on the floor with him than any other man. You know, in general. [Laughs.]

MTV: You are passing the torch.

Jolie: Passing the torch to James.

MTV: Since you’re in your elder years, right? All the way in your early 30s.

Jolie: [Laughs.] Yeah, that’s right.

MTV: Do you imagine such physical roles will always be a part of your career?

Jolie: I think there’s always going to be a side of me … you know, as long as I can. Harrison [Ford] is doing it, and he’s doing it well. It looks like I’ve got some more time.

She also added that she’s curios that her name was being bandied about for Sin City 2 but wasn’t sure it would be as original at the first. I think she’d be outstanding the production but if it doesn’t float her boat I understand her wanting to pass Only time will tell.

Video:Wanted Extended Clip

Friday, June 13th, 2008

Oh this is loads of fun. We’ve got a over 7 minutes of Wanted. We’ve seen bits of this scene before but it’s super exciting to see it all pieced together. Thanks to Randi for picking this one up.

Various Wanted Trailers and Clip

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

This trailer is very similar to the very first Wanted trailer that was released. Only this time James McAvoy is instructed to shoot the wings off of fly instead of curving the bullet.

This is more from McAvoy’s perspective. You’ll remember that the original trailer was mostly narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Wanted Exclusive Trailer

Finally we’ve got an actual clip. Enjoy!!!

Video:Another Sneak Peak of Angelina Jolie’s The Changeling

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

This is a longer look at the Changeling. I cannot wait until this hits theaters. According to IMBD, the movie will debut in US theaters on November 7th. That date sound a long way out to me. Cannes debuts usually premier in theaters in in the summer or(at the latest) the early fall. More terrific reviews are pouring in for Angelina.

From the UK’s Independent:

“Thanks to her media profile, Jolie cuts such an absurd figure it is easy to forget how accomplished she can be. This is a performance of subtlety and power.” (Not sure how I feel about the absurd part. The writer seems to equate her personality with her media persona. Still it’s a good review) .

Video:Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Love it Up

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

We’ve got more from Angelina and Brad’s dinner date the other night. I love this video. It shows Brad and Angie being extra loving and Brad’s jokingly shooing the paps away.

Video:Sneak Peak of Angelina Jolie’s The Changeling(The Exchange)

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

I’m hearing rumblings that the movie’s name has been changed to The Exchange. I haven’t had time to verify that but that’s how this AP video from today’s photocall has it listed  previously had it listed as that.  It may be plausible. This video gives us our first glimpse of Angelina doing her thing in the movie. (At least it’s new to me). Angelina says some nice things about Eastwood. Enjoy.

Video:Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Dine with Mick Jagger and Clint Eastwood

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

We knew that Angelina and Brad dined with Clinton Eastwood last night. We’ve also learned that Mick Jagger at six other people joined the power couple. The party of eight dined at Tetou Restaurant in Golfe-Juan, France on Monday evening. Tetou is a trendy spot, know for it’s celeb clientele and fabulous bouillabaisse.

Video:Angelina Jolie On Today, Babies Due August 19th

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

It looks like Angelina’s Kung Fu Panda co-starts can’t keep their mouths. In addition to yesterday’s twins guffaw by Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman revealed Angelina’s due date in a separate conversation with Today’s Natalie Morales. Due dates are dicey and who knows if Dustin even got it right. Still, Angelina did confirm she’s a few months off in her Today interview.

I wonder how long the family plans to stay in France and if Angelina will actually give birth in a more remote location like she did the last time. Angie has said that she gets the giggles with she’s pregnant. Looks like that that’s true. Check out the snippet. It’s lots of fun.
