Brad covers February A-List issue of W magazine. He took the opportunity to set a few things straight about how he and Angelina found love.

Brad maintains that he and Angelina weren’t romantically involved while he was still with Jennifer Aniston:
“What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”

He thinks Jennifer Annston’s “uncool” Vogue comments were taken out of context:
(According to the December 2008 issue of Vogue, Jennifer thought it was “uncool” for Angelina to talk about her feelings for Brad while they were filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith) :
“Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”

He still talks to Jennifer:
“We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”

On shooting Angelina breastfeeding for the November 2008 W cover:
“We have fun working together; these things bring you closer. And let me tell you, it’s really sexy to see your loved one through the lens. I went much further [than the cover shot of Jolie breast-feeding]. I didn’t show those.”

There are lots of other great tidbits in the complete article. We rarely see Brad this open. He tends to trust W magazine so I’m sure it helped him relax.

W magazine released more photos of Angelina and the kids in W magazine along with a complete interview.

The family loves spending time together:
“We have such a big family, such a close family, that we like being with each other a lot. We’re happy to spend a lot of time alone and meet new people wherever we go.”

The first picture of Brad Pitt’s photos of Angelina Jolie for W magazine have surfaced along with snippets of the W interview.

Here’s what she say about the intimate portraits:
“I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.”

About deciding to give birth to children:
“I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do. I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant). I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”

About giving birth to three of her six children:
“I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.

About her relationship with Brad:
“I do think that I’m in a good partnership now. I think it just needed to be the right man.”

You can just make out a little hand in the picture.  I wonder which of the twins it is.  I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos.  Looks like Brad did a fantastic job.  This interview will reveal a lot about the family.  Kudos to our favorite couple for sharing their lives with us.

This summer we learned that Brad Pitt had shot a family photo spread for W magazine. Life&Style Magazine has confirmed one of the photos will show Angelina breastfeeding one of the twins.

“Angelina posed for Brad [Pitt] in one of the photos while breast-feeding,” the source revealed to Life & Style. “It’s really beautiful and tastefully done.” They’re scheduled to appear in W’s November issue which is scheduled to hit newsstands on Oct. 21.

This weekend Angelina said that breastfeeding has a been a large part of her C-section recovery.  The March of Dimes reports that 77 percent of women breastfeed their child for any length of time. Forty percent of those women were still breastfeeding their children at six months. Quotes from Angelina suggest that she breastfed Shiloh for about a year.

Last week Brad Pitt photographed Angelina and the kid’s at Chateau Miraval for a W magazine cover set for a November release.  Photography has long been a hobby of Brad’s.  He appeared on the March 2007 cover of Interview holding a camera.  Rumor has it that  Angie gifted him a Littman 45 single camera for his birthday gift.

You’ll remember that they  appeared in a July 2005 W photo spread as a 50’s era married couple.  Supposedly the spread was to advertise Mr. and Mrs. Smith but didn’t it really officially announce their relationship?  After all they adopted Zahara the same month the cover ran. I admit I was a bit disturbed about how things went down with Jennifer(this was before I was a fan) but I appreciated that both parties were able to move on without being ugly with one another.
