German Vanity Fair is saying that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just closed on a 6,500 sq. foot flat in East Berlin (Alexandersplatz to be precise). AJ and Brad already own 2 homes in California, a home in France and the New Orleans home they just purchased.

Please, tell me when one of them can utter a full paragraph in German, or better yet, in Ossie Deutsch, and I will be fully impressed. Yawn. Seems everything they do is ostentatious, with a HINT of alternativism (that Brechtian quality)….like E. versus W. Berlin. Is Brangelina over yet? Their pretense is annoying and cloying and Americans suck it up like nobody’s business.
