Do you want to see Angelina Jolie’s ‘Smith’ costumes?
A collection of costumes from major films will be on display at the “Cinema Fashion and Hollywood Designers” exhibition in Tokyo from Mar. 1 to Mar. 13, 2007.
About 40 dresses and suits worn in films by Hollywood icons, ranging from Vivien Leigh in “Gone with the Wind,” Audrey Hepburn in “My Fair Lady,” Sharon Stone in “Basic Instinct,” Tom Cruise in “The Last Samurai,” to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” will be on display.
The display will include costumes worn by:
– Joan Crawford in “Letty Lynton” (1932)
– Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable in “Gone with the Wind” (1939)
– Grace Kelly in “Rear Window” (1954)
– Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean in “Giant” (1956)
– Marilyn Monroe in “Let’s Make Love” (1960)
– Audrey Hepburn in “My Fair Lady” (1964)
– Mia Farrow in “The Great Gatsby” (1974)
– Liza Minnelli in “New York, New York” (1977)
– Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas in “Basic Instinct” (1992)
– Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in “Titanic” (1997)
– Gwyneth Paltrow in “Great Expectations” (1999)
– George Clooney and Julia Roberts in “Ocean’s 11″ (2001)
– Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor in “Moulin Rouge” (2001)
– Angelina Jolie in “Original Sin” (2001)
– Tom Cruise and Koyuki in “The Last Samurai” (2003)
