First Look of Angelina Jolie in ‘Salt’
Yesterday USA Today released the first photos of Angelina Jolie in Salt. Angelina plays Evelyn A. Salt, a CIA agent accused of spying for the Russians. Maybe it’s true maybe it’s not.
“She’s a character you never know,” said producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not. You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”
“We know everything about her, but do we?’ (Her pursuers) have a ton of information to act on, but that’s where they begin to question what is real and what isn’t.”
Liev Schreiber plays Winter, Salt’s contact, ally and supervisor in the Russia office. Chiwetel Ejiofor is Peabody, a rival spy that tries to capture her. The film producers had to rethink the Salt’s interpersonal relationship after the Angelina was cast. The role was originally intended for Tom Cruise.
“I had no idea how complex it would be,” di Bonaventura said. “We had to rethink the whole notion of how a man vs. a woman operates in the business world, in personal relationship and in friendships.”
Salts opens in 2010.

If it is of any interest to you I’d like to inform you that “Changeling” in Italy came out on the 14 November 2008 and at the Box Office it had excellent results:

Believe me it is not bad at all…
Slumdog Millionaire came out 5 Dicembre 2008 with there results at the moment but consider it will pick up slightly ’cause of the winning of the Oscars:

The Curiose case of Benjamin was out 13 Febbruary 2009 so it’s still picking up audience till now …

As you see Italians choices are a bit different from USA choices…

These photos are just amazing. She looks absolutely gorgeous in both of them. But in my opinion the dark wig suits her much better than the blond one. I can´t wait to see the movie. Angie is really great in action movies but also in dramas like A Mighty Heart and Changeling. Hopefully she keeps making both in the future too.
