Happy Birthday Brad Pitt
It’s William Bradley Pitt’s 44th birthday. Here’s hoping he has a terrific birthday and one more great year. To honor this special day, I thought I’d post some little known facts (or maybe they were little know to me) about Brad’s life.
- Brad was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma but was raised in Springfield, Missouri
- He’s was raised Baptist and was was very devout up until college(He’s still a man of faith but it’s unclear if he’s still Christian)
- He attended the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
- Pitt arrived in Hollywood in 1987.
- During those first few years, he appeared in Dallas, Growing Pains and Head of the Class.
- He attracted critical attention when he appeared in Thelma and Louise Pitt as a small time criminal.(See the skinny but ripped Brad above)
- In an recent interview with Diane Sawyer he said this about aging, “I liked turning 40. Maybe I had a crisis earlier or something. Maybe I had it in my 30s. One thing that sucks though is that your face kind of goes, and your body’s not quite working the same. But you earned it. You earned that, things falling apart.” (Cry me a river Brad. Cause you are aging so badly. /sarcasm)
The rest, as they say, is history. He’s made the leap from Hollywood pretty boy to serious actor, international activist and daddy of a growing brood.
Again, Happy Birthday Brad.
