Is Angelina doing too much too fast for little Pax?
US Magazine is saying that Angelina Jolie is living a double life… and I hate to say it, but they may be a little right.
First Angie announced that she was going to be a stay-at-home mom to help Pax adjust to his new life. Four days later she announced that she had signed on for the movie Wanted (set to film in Prague starting in April) and she flew out to Chicago for a screen test for Wanted on March 23 (I somehow missed that one, but that’s where US is saying she was). She will also be filming Atlas Shrugged and The Changeling this fall.
Is Angie really “stay[ing] at home to help Pax adjust to his new life”? Jolie told the Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper on March 16. “I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for the moment.”
Do you think Angie is giving Pax the time and attention that he needs to learn a new language, adjust to his new family and be emotionally ready to fly around the world constantly? Or does she need to take it easy and give him more time to adjust?

I am so tired of the magazines bashing Angelina. They still keep bringing up all that old stuff she has put behind her - from years ago. Then, the very next story is ALWAYS about Jennifer Aniston. It has been over 2 years now since Angelina and Brad got together. Case in point: lastest issue of US Magazine, April 9, 2007 issue. Let’s move on already!

I thing Angelina is handeling this like each of the preceeding adoptions. She keeps her children with her for the most part but moves around with them constantly. If she (and Brad) can remain the constants in her life then Pax should adjust well…but, not as quickly as Mad & Z as they were infants when adopted. Adopting an older child is an entirely different scenerio. Angelina seems like she has educated herself on the importance of attachment. Only time will tell if Pax attaches and adjusts in a healthy manner.

in regards to the first comment, this US mag article has nOTHING to do withe her past. it’s all based on facts and all the sources turn out to of public record. she’s in a tail spin and i think she’s out of control.
she’s a bundle of contradictions, and she is using the media for PR (more now than ever)
if she had any tact at all, she’d stop using the media and her children to sell her saintly wanna be image. i truly feel sorry for this new kid (pax), he’s not an infant or a newborn; but a toddler who notices immediate change. i don’t have a good feeling for the out come for these children. i think she’s too self absorbed to adopt at this point. perhaps she she wait when she’s more mature and responsible. i’ve actually surprised myself when i put her in the same catagory as brittney spears. now, that’s just sad.

I agree with the 2 first entries…
There is no such thing as staying mom, really. One tries ones best, everyone needs to work for a living and with an adopted child one needs to set up the ground rules and let go.
She is a b=very dedicated mother….
For the person just before me…
Look at Angelina’s schedule, she has clear the whole summer, she is doing ONLY what is necessary.
I wish I had the economic means to do the same with my childre, I can only give them weekends and off days… they they still are wonderful human beens.

i didn’t know making movies were so necessary and more important than some stability for your adopted child. how nice she’ll be home for a couple of weeks.
then what? pitt’s making movies, she’s making movies. i guess the nanny will raise the kids. i’m not saying she should quit her job. but how is she going to carry out her so called globe trotting humanitarian work make movies and make sure her kids are mentally & physically balanced. i read a statement from HER that she planned to take a year off mabe two, and brad would resume the films while she was a stay at home mother. what changed? movies are nice, but i thought she hated the hollywood life style with the press releases and traveling to sell the movie? i just think she tells everyone what they want to hear, then does whatever she wants at the expense of others. she’s a bit shady. i also want to know why she announces that she donates money to charities, but refuses to tell everyone what charities? why bother telling anyone in the first place?

Dev, Apparently I did not make myself clear on my first comment. I am NOT saying Angelina did not do those things in her past. What I AM saying is that I am tired of reading about that stuff over and over again. Get it? You seem to read a lot of the celebrity stuff - don’t you get tired of reading about the blood in the necklace, kissing her brother at the awards, etc., etc., and then reading about POOR JEN immediately following the same old Angie stories??? My point was, this is old news. The same story for the past 2 years and then the same follow-up story about poor Jennifer Aniston. We will probably be reading the same stories five years from now. That was what I was trying to say. Sorry if I did not make myself clear.

i read people magazine. i’m a subscriber. she happens to do a lot of interviews and press releases with them. that’s what i’m basing all my opinions on. HER WORDS. not those silly other magazine.
who mentioned anything about jennifer aniston. last thing i read about her was she was in “dirt.” yippee! so why are you bringing HER up?
I’m talking about her last few interviews with people magazine. NOT OLD NEWS. SHE said her focus was to be with her children.
YOU really need to stop puting my opinion on the back burner because YOU think this is about tabloid articles. I am speaking of HER interviews with PEOPLE magazine. NOTHING in the articles say the words “say’s a friend.” it’s all “say’s jolie.”

i would much rather see her in the humanitary role than doing movies. i like the idea of it. it makes me feel, i don’t know … hopeful. Hopeful to know that people really do give a crap. BUT, then she turns around and does the opposite. that makes me feel like ‘OH, okay…it was all said for her image at the time, a big Publicity stunt.’
that’s all. i think you need to accept that the jennifer anniston factor is well in the
past. i didn’t bring up her brother either. so who exactly is stuck on the “other” trashy magazines? hmmmmmmmmm?
so my point is your ideas are old news. my points are within the last month or two from her recent interviews. pick up the last few people magazines.

You still don’t understand what I’m saying. That’s okay. I respect your opinions though. My complaint was, and I mentioned US because they happened to be the magazine THIS WEEK who is bringing up all the old stuff about Angelina. That’s all. I accept that Jennifer is in the past - I was saying that I get tired of the way the magazines continue to connect her with Brad Pitt. I’m not trying to argue with you in any way. It was just a statement I made regarding the celebrity magazines in general, particularly US magazine in that issue. That’s all. End of my comments on this subject.

ok, i don’t read US magazine. i see your point and respect it just as much. i guess i was just really surprised to her signing up for new movies a couple of day’s after her making an announcement she was going to be home with her kids. i also agree that on the cover of magazines they always have a headline about the three of them to sell their bull. that’s why i LOVE people.

I agree, Dev, I think People presents the best information and probably the most reliable on Angelina. I love too all the work she does to help others and I do remember her saying she was going to take the time to spend with Pax so he could adjust to his new family, and then she signed up to do a new movie. I just hope everything works out for all of them. People is the best of the magazines. Yeay!!
